This paper gives a brief introduction about a new hydrofoil craft with new style, which was launched on the Eve of New year 1999 and the first trial conducted showing it successful. So far, it is the fstest passenger craft in China for inland navigation. New explores have been achieved. Those are (1) fiberglass hull which is the first time used for a large hydrofoil craft, (2) the adoption of a hydrofoil system which is self-stabilizing, canardz mixed type and with a fore subfoil, and (3) the first design and manufacture of semi-submerged propeller on hydrofoil in CHina. The craft trail proved it meeting the requirements of design contract.
