This paper presents seakeeping experiment and theoretical computation results of a fast transom stern, round bilge ship (Fn=0.971), Seakeeping experiments were run in regular head waves. Heave, pitch and vertical acceleration responses predicted by Strip theory (S.T.F method) were compared with the results of seakeeping model tests. The acuracy of the strip theory shows they can be used in the preliminary hydrodynamic design of high speed displacement ship.
