This paper introduces "Long-range Sequential Core Boring (LSCB) system," a fundamental technology developed for dismantling ofradioactivated concrete structures in nuclear facilities. This paper shows the system's features, components, performance test results, and an advanced LSCB system being developed. Because of its features, LSCB systemrnis capable of sequentially boring more than 10meters (33 feet) in length quite accurately, that cannot be attained by conventional boring systems. It is favorable for the dismantling of radioactivated concrete structures in nuclear facilities.
