In January 2001, EDF decided to accelerate the decommissioning of its first nine nuclear generation units in order to achieve final decommissioning in 25 years' time. An engineering center dedicated to decommissioning, radwasternmanagement and environment was set up to implement this strategy.rnFour years after its creation, the first lessons learned in the fields of organization, project and program management canrnnow be described.
