The industrial pollution control is a major concern in the socio-economic development. In this paper the author establishes an entropy DEA model evaluating the effectiveness of industrial pollution control from the angle of both inputs and outputs, namely, input-entropy DEA model and output-entropy DEA model. And it also discusses issues such as model solving, the identification of effective decision-making units and the improvement of non-effective decision-making units. Finally, by evaluating the examples about the effectiveness of industrial pollution control in every Chinese province and autonomous regions in 2004, the effectiveness and feasibility of this model is validated.
