The paper presents the problems of conditional distribution functions of grained materials'rncharacteristics on the basis of chosen material – coal. Two variables were taken into consideration:rnparticle size d and particle density ρ. Let mark by Z(d|ρ) the random variable meaning the contentsrnof particles of certain diameter d by determined density ρ. It was assumed that the values of randomrnfields Z(d|ρ_i) for i = 1,…, n are known. On the basis of these data, the random field Z(d|ρ) forrnoptional ρ can be approximated. To this purpose, the ordinary cringing method was applied, where,rnZ(d|ρ) = Σ_(i=1)~nλ_iZ(d|ρ_i); λ_i are parameters and Σλ_i = 1;rnSuch given theoretical conditional distribution functions were then statistically evaluated andrncompared with empirical data. The advantages of kriging applications were specified.
