Virtual Reality as a tool for interactive three- and four-dimensional visualization of natural or technical domains has increasingly developed over the last few years. Having its roots in Computer Graphics and simulation methodologies, the virtual reality technology is now available in many different application domains. State of the art virtual reality tools nevertheless miss the capabilities of real dynamical simulations that allow the user real time interaction not only with the three-dimensional model itself, but also with the parametrized processes, thus leading to a better framework for complex system analysis.
