摘要

Although punching of reinforced slabs has been investigated extensively in the last decades,rnthere are only limited test data with realistic specimen sizes for punching of footings. Thus, a number of twelvernreinforced concrete footings with and without shear reinforcement were tested to investigate the punchingrnbehavior. The thickness of most of the slabs was set to 0.45 m, whereas four specimens were tested with arnhigher slab thickness of 0.65m to investigate the punching behavior of thick footings. Examining the influencernof the shear slenderness, the edge lengths of the square slab were varied from 1.20m to 2.70 m. The main testrnparameters investigated are the shear slenderness, size effects of the effective static depth, concrete compressionrnstrength, longitudinal reinforcement ratio and shear reinforcement.
