Mathematical models of axial force and torque, when drilling or widening are important for scientific research and / or industrial application as, thus it would be possible to determine optimum process parameters values or, predict force and torque values, once process parameters set.. Widening holes in stainless steel is many times required and, given the fact that existing data on this topic are very poor, a study on 10TiMoNiCr 175 has been done and results presented by this paper.
