These are many problems in the field of existing landmark of digital earth. For example landmark show too many additions, deletions can not be automatically carried out, the screen Landmark saturation can not be reasonably calculated to display. To solve these problems, combined with the cognitive process of geo-information, a saturation calculation model of landmark display in digital earth based on regional division was proposed. The key steps are as follows:①digital terrestrial landmark target adaptive clustering to obtain the land the subject of the basic spatial distribution and density contrast; ② by the use of state, water and road network topology generation networks through clustering delineation of the region to form a screen to be calculated in different regions of saturation; ③respectively, after the regional division of the area in accordance with the method of load calculation screen of the divided region of saturation. Practice shows that the method of calculating small area by division is effective way to make up for deficiencies in the original.
