The purpose of this study was to investigate the susceptibility of yeasts to fluuconazole. Ninety-two yeast strains were isolated from clinical specimens such as blood, CSF, peritoneal dialysate, pleural fluid, ascites, etc. Sixty Candida strains and 32 other yeast strains including Torulopsis glabrata, Trichosporon spp., Hansenula anomala, Crytococcus spp. were tested. Candida krusei ATCC 22019 and Candida parapsilosis ATCC 6258 were used as the quality control isolates.
