As we know, the capital costs and operating costs inrnan operating company’s project lifecycle can bernoptimized if facility operability and design issuesrncan be captured by the project team as early asrnpossible. However, it is common to have minimumrninvolvement of the operations group during thernproject lifecycle. ConocoPhillips Indonesia uses arnconcept called Operability Assurance to minimizernissues regarding facility operability and design byrninvolving operations as early as possible.rnThis paper presents typical operability and designrnissues faced by operability assurance withinrnConocoPhillips Indonesia during the brownfieldrnproject lifecycle of Letang Tengah and RawarnOptimization (LTRO) and other projects.
