The aging of the population is both a blessing and a curse.The active aging is trying to seek advantages and avoid disadvantages in the problem of aging population.In accordance with the required by the active aging, the aged should improve the ability to adapt to the change of society, and the government and society should provide necessary supports and advice for the aged.No matter what, education plays a very important role in the active aging.Therefore, to establish and perfect the aged education system is an important measure to realize the active aging.As a typical aging society, Europe and Japan have made some beneficial attempt in the education for the aged.Among them, the French old-age education is the earliest and the most influential one, the German old-age education has characteristics like autonomy and diversity, and the Japan old-age education develops in the fastest speed and the government plays a leading role in that.However, the education for the aged in these countries still focuses on the aging population, aims to promote employment of the aged, and ignores the subjectivity of the aged.Only by solving these problems, the life quality of the aged will be improved, and the active aging will be achieved.
