e-LEARNING RECOMMENDER SYSTEM BASED ON LINEAR REGRESSION

Building a high quality e-Learning environment is one ofrnthe greatest challenges. One important approach forrnenhancing an e-Learning environment is to build arnrecommender system that guides the learners in theirrnactivities. The core business logic implies a classificationrnof learner based on a linear regression mechanism. Thernobtained classification model is used for obtaining therncurrent class of the learner and the target class. Once therntarget class is determined the distance between them isrncomputed and recommendations are obtained.
