An Approach to Omission in Chinese Analysis

摘要

This paper discusses the important grammar phenomenon of Chinese that a topic is omitted to avoid unnecessary repetition, and advances an approach to omission in Chinese analysis-Choosing Discourse Topic (CDT), and expounds the role played in Chinese understanding and Chinese-foreign language machine translation system by CDT.
