Optimization of pipeline integrity to achieve environmental objectives can be economically managed with information obtained from Fitness-for-Service assessments which aid in determining prudent In-Line Inspection frequency, excavation and repair programs. Near-term and long-term maintenance programs can be prepared, scheduled and progressively implemented based on the corrective, preventive and predictive actions recommended from a Fitness-For-Service projection assessment to mitigate potential thoughput impacts.
