Detection of lead contamination in soil from Avalos region in Chihuahua, Mexico

摘要

Analytical methodology development for lead determination in soil samples from residential zone in Avalos site in Chihuahua, Chihuahua. Mexico.rnAvalos refinery was operating during last century in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico. The principal products were lead, gold and silver. Due to their activities, hundred of solid wastes were generated and liberated to the environment without any regulation. Nowadays, there is an estimation of 8000,000 m~3 (Plan de Rescate Ecologico y Reordenamiento Urbano Avalos Chihuahua, Chih., 2004) of solid waste in an area of 465 ha~2. (Diagnostico Ambiental de la Planta Avalos, Chih., 2002).
