BREEDING AND IDENTIFICATION OF ECOTYPE MALE STERILITY TWO-LINE SYSTEM HYBRID RAPESEED 'LIANGYOU 586' IN Brassica napus

The two-line system hybrid rapeseed 'Liangyou 586' is the best new combination which was used a GMS two-line system 501-8s sensitive to temperature and photoperiod in Brassica napus and a restreation line C6-1 by hybridization selection. It has many advantages, such as high yield, good quality, moderate growing period and strong resistance. Through three years' productive tests, all tested results showed an increase by 9.9% over that of CK (Zhongyou 821). According to analysis of all characteristics, it comes in the first of all tested varieties.
