Engine monitoring is not new, but EHM has yet to buy its way onto the engine. Successful EHM implementation requires: - Balancing the technology push (from the sensor developers) with a strong technology pull (from the intended end-users); - Validation of the sensor technology's capability to operate successfully in the intended operating environment and work seamlessly with the existing systems.
