The present work discusses the problem of optimal management of Multipurpose batch chemical plants (MBCP) иand complexes of them used in chemical, biochemical and pharmaceutical industries. The main goal was to develop a method for planning and scheduling in complexes of multipurpose plants where the market requirements are taken into account. It is based on a strategy for solving the problem using the composite approach where the tasks for optimal management of multipurpose complexes and working out optimal production schedules are solved simultaneously. The problem is formulated as a task for mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP).
