PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a batch plant production planning system capable of planning a production plan required to manufacture a product and an intermediate product in a multi-step, and also a production plan for the manufacturing of a chemical substance or the like manufactured in a batch.SOLUTION: The batch plant production planning system includes a production information acquisition means for acquiring production product information, a recipe database having information required for manufacturing the product, a production plan planning means for planning the production plan, and a production plan database written in with the production plan, and the production plan planning means executes a step for finding the number of batches or the like of the intermediate product required for manufacturing the product for calculating the number of batches while taking a redundant in the last lot into consideration in the calculation of the number of batches, rounding up a fraction of the number of batches, making an excessive amount of the rounding-up serve as the redundant, and writing those into the production plan database, and a step for repeating the step hereinbefore as to all the products and all the intermediate products to be manufactured in the batch plant production planning system.
