摘要

This work focuses on providing insights into the potential future of wastewater treatment for potable reuse applications; especially those that employ O3/BAF based advanced water treatment (AWT). Leveraging the HRSD Sustainable Water Initiative for Tomorrow (SWIFT) project, this research applies microbial community analysis and molecular techniques to assist in elucidating the effects of various AWT treatment processes on microbial contaminants of emerging concern and bacterial community development in BAF systems.
