PURPOSE: An advanced wastewater processing apparatus for reducing excessive sludge and generating recycled water is provided to obtain the stable quality of processed water by eliminating residual floating materials. CONSTITUTION: A bio-reactive bath(2) stores wastewater and implements intermittence aeration for cultivating microorganism into a precipitation state. The precipitated microorganism is separated from the wastewater. A precipitate bath(4) stores the wastewater from the bio-reactive bath and precipitates floating materials by gravity-precipitation. The precipitated floating materials are utilized as return activated sludge and the wastewater without the sludge is drained. A high-rate coagulation-precipitation unit(6) introduces a coagulation agent into the wastewater without the sludge. Through a chemical coagulation process, recycled water is generated by eliminating phosphorus contents and remained floating materials.
