Finite Element Analysis of Municipal Drainages Dredging Robot

The paper was mainly research on municipal drainage dredging robot by finite elements method. It took a certainly type of municipal drainage dredging robot as an example. In most dangerous working condition, which is the max working resistance acts on the tank and just one nose wheel dangling, the two main structure parts of robot were analyzed in finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench13.0 and got the equivalent stress and total deformation. The maximum equivalent of stress of the tank is much less than material yield strength, and which shows that structure is reasonable. There existed stress concentration in collector, and it should be chamfered to reduce the stress concentration. The analysis data indicated that the structure of the two parts was reasonable.
