A novel nanostructured lipid carrier (NLC) for liver-targeting delivery of dexamethasone acetate (DXMA) was prepared by film dispersion- ultrasonication method. DXMA-NLC displayed liver- targeting and sustained release properties in vivo and exhibited anti-inflammatory effect on carbon tetrachloride induced mice.
