Organizational learning has been a topic of interest in the management literature for quite some time (Dodgson, 1993). The major themes in this research have been the relationship between organizational learning and individual learning and how relationships among individuals can be leveraged to facilitate organizational learning. Of recent interest in the popular press, has been the topic of knowledge management. Knowledge management is a new field emerging at the intersection of organization theory, management strategy, and information systems. Knowledge management requires systematic attention to learning processes, culture, technology infrastructure and measurement. In this paper we explore the linkage between organizational learning and knowledge management.
