ESD Arc Analysis and System-level Simulation

摘要

This work demonstrates a simple experiment setup to measure ESD arc currents and presents how the current waveforms change by the distance between the target and the tip of ESD generator. And it also gives an EM-field simulation model of a commercial ESD generator (Dito from EM-Test) for characterizing for arc waveform. In order to achieve the EM-field simulation model, the critical factors shall be discussed to correlate to measurement.
