Development of office service robot (part 2)

We have developed an office service robot that autonomously moves on wheels and operates in public spaces using eight cameras in a pan-tilt stage, two manipulators, and other equipment. It has a special vehicle mechanism consistent with rotation performance and the ability to get over obstacles. A CPU, a digital signal processor (DSP), and the other processors make up the internal LAN and communicate with each other. We describe here the hardware features of this robot.
