The thermal oxidative stability of FIberite 7714A (glass/epoxy), 976 (carbon/epoxy) and 977-2 (carbon/expoxy) were studied at temperatures up to and above their respective glass transition temperatures. Composite samples were subjected to both long and short durations of heating. The first set of samples were heated for 4 to 6 hrs from 100 to 350 deg C and second set of samples were cycled for 30 min intervals from 200 to 400 deg C.
