The models of representative volume elements of porous carbon-ceramic materials with various pore shapes are presented in the current paper. The simulation of the heat transfer process in a representative volume element is carried out. The characteristics influence of the material structure - the pore shape and the radiative Nusselt number - on the thermal conductivity values is studied. It has been shown that for the same pore volume, the pore shape and the pore surface area have a significant effect on thermal conductivity.
