By analyzing the operating principle of rotor dryer, the cavity temperature system is approximatively abstracted as a second-order plant with time-lag. To aim at efficient control for the cavity-temperature system, two-degree-of-freedom controller with predictive control is designed. The simulations demonstrate that, two-degree-of-freedom control makes both tracking and anti-disturbance performances well synchronously and separately. The combination of two-degree-of-freedom control and predictive control is effective to eliminate time-delay effect in temperature control system.
