Describes the methodology and reconstruction results of the initial (at the beginning of mesokatagenesis) hydrocarbon potential of Bazhenov source rock in the central and southern areas of the West Siberian Basin. The methodology based on basin modeling technic, using pyrolytic and geophysical well logging data.
