Study on consumption energy of pneumatic system in SINKANSEN vehicle

The design of the pneumatic system of a railroad carriage was decided so far by experience value, and the evaluation about consumption energy of the pneumatic system was not yet done. This study measured consumption energy of the pneumatic system of SINKANSEN train in real time with the air power meter. In addition, we simulated the pressure of the pipe and confirmed that a simulation result almost accorded with measured value.
