Chiral Asymmetry on Chiral Crystallization in Chiral Optical Field

Asymmetric induction in absolute asymmetric photosynthesis using circularly polarized light (CPL) as asymmetric source has fascinated many researchers from the viewpoint of the origin of biohomochirality and optical resolution of pharmaceutical compounds. Chiral crystallization, in which achiral molecule crystallizes as a crystal with a chiral space group, is analogous to absolute asymmetric synthesis in the point that chiral material can be obtained from achiral material.
