Salicylaldiminato metal complexes have attracted platform of functional molecule-based materials due to tunability of their electronic structures by changing metal source and substituents. Our research group has focused on trans-bis(salicylaldiminato) metal complexes with flexible coordination platform and found new functionalities such as gelation properties and controllable emission properties.1-3
