Single-cell arrays have been a powerful tool for high-throughput profiling of individual cells and applied to identification of therapeutically and diagnostically valuable cells. However, conventionally available techniques require time-consuming and troublesome procedures for recovery of the identified cells through one-by-one cell picking.
