Supramolecular polymerization involving biomolecules such as ribonucleic acid (RNA) and proteins are highly challenging to fabricate, but important to explore the structure and functional features of biomaterials. Typical example is a virus that formed via supramolecular assemblage of bio-tailored capsid protein around RNA, which infect the host cells and deliver their genome into subcellular compartments (cytosol or nucleus).
