摘要

A great variety of carboxylic acids (CAs) including amino acids is abundantly available from the petrochemical process and biomass sources, or from CO2. Hydrogenation of CAs (CA hydrogenation) to alcohols, which produces water as the only byproduct, has represented as a sustainable method for the production of these alternative energy carriers/platform chemicals on a large scale.
