Through the validation study carried out at ITTC/PSS, STAWAVE-1, STAWAVE-2 and NMRI method are investigated by using model test in regular waves and irregular waves and full scale data at speed/power trial using a variety of ship data, size and types, and tank tests/full scale data. From the studies, it is understood the features of each method of wave correction. By these validation studies it can be determined whether the limit is appropriate or not and will be reflected to the Recommended Procedures.
