Validation Study on Wave Correction for Speed/Power Trial of Ships

摘要

Through the validation study carried out at ITTC/PSS,STAWAVE-1, STAWAVE-2 and NMRI method areinvestigated by using model test in regular waves and irregularwaves and full scale data at speed/power trial using a varietyof ship data, size and types, and tank tests/full scale data.From the studies, it is understood the features of eachmethod of wave correction. By these validation studies it canbe determined whether the limit is appropriate or not and willbe reflected to the Recommended Procedures.
