HW/SW co-design project with FPGA prototyping

摘要

This document describes the application of project-based learning techniques through the development of an application-specific multiprocessor digital system with hard-ware/software codesign, as the final project for an optional course of the Grado en Ingeniería Electrónica y Automática at Universidad de Extremadura. The design uses a processor specifically designed for the task, and another configurable processor obtained from an IP module with general purpose peripherals and some specialized peripherals that have been developed through lab sessions.
