摘要

Communication in the totalitarian regimes has specific features determined by the complexity of the relationships between the representatives of the political power and the citizens they govern. One of the most repressive characteristics of totalitarian regimes is the fierce controlling exerted over all areas of the public sphere and the 'invasion' of private life in order to ensure the total obedience and adherence of the governed to the goals pursued by their governors.communication and media become an instrument in the hands of the regime that uses them as primary tools for manipulation and propaganda. In this context, identity viewed either at a national level or at the individual level is (re)constructed to meet the requirements of the 'ideal' man or people, a model imagined by the political rulers who do not refrain from eliminating anyone who would manifest the slightest sign of resistance.
