ADLib~R System: The Avian Cell-Based Antibody Display System with Human Repertoire

The ADLib~R (Autonomously Diversifying Library) system is a cell surface displayed antibody library technology with unique antibody repertoire that is generated by gene conversion mechanism in chicken B cell lymphoma cell line, DT40. In the ADLib~R system, the antigen-specific DT40 cells can be selected by magnetic beads-based and/or fluorescence-based cell sorting. We have also developed the ADLib~R axCELL method which allows screening of antibodies against membrane proteins, and ADLib~R Combo which is ideal for antibodies suitable for sandwich ELISA. Combination of different selection methods yield clones with higher affinity antibody and selectivity even for highly conserved antigens.
