摘要

Water is a key component in most of the soft matter systems and the investigation of water confined in nanometer-sized channels or pores has attracted huge interests as well due to the extraordinary structural and dynamical properties that are different from those of the bulk water .However the researchers are still making efforts to understand how the properties of water change upon nano-scale confinement and how these changes may influence a wide range of systems such as organic/inorganic media.One of the important media,Polyethylene oxide(PEO)solution,is widely used in lithium polymer cells as the separator and electrolyte solvent .The diffusivity of water molecules is a key parameter in such system.At the same time,Li ~+ ions may also provide useful controllability on the diffusion and hydration rate of water in this PEO/Water/LiCl system. We believe that these controls are relying on the local dynamics of water molecules and the influence of Li+on the surrounding water molecules.
