World around us is growing very rapidly, and as the time goes by more and more new interconnections are springing into life. Things that we would never have imagined to be connected in some way or another now finding their links creating new systems and increasing overall complexness. In order to handle complex systems, and more importantly manage them in the proper way, new systemic approaches or tools are needed. We think that multiscale modelling and simulation is one of them. In this paper we would like to provide analysis what new can multiscale modelling and simulation bring to the field of modelling complex systems. During our explanation we will provide some thoughts about theory of multiscale simulation modelling approach. Important point that should be mentioned here is that our model possesses triple scale: micro, meso and macro. Target model is electricity market of a single artificial country and micro, meso and macro are represented as different parts of the model. More specifically, micro is about electricity exchange between suppliers and users, meso is everything which happens on area level, and macro is country level. We will provide results of computational experiments with analysis and conclusion.
