Highly dispersed nano-sized Ni/MgO-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared by deposition-precipitation (DP) method for the diesel pre-reforming reaction which converts higher hydrocarbons into mixture of CI components (CO, CO2, CH4) and hydrogen. In practice, it is required to develop the highly dispersed catalyst with good catalytic activity and high coke resistance for pre-reforming reaction at low temperature below 450°C.
