In order to solve the problem that the conventional continuous forced mixing of cement stabilized macadam is difficult to mixing uniformly, a new method using vibration mixing technology and equipment is proposed. A comparison test of the continuous mixing of double-mixed tanks and single-mixed tank vibration mixing recommended by the industry is carried out. The results show that the components of cement, water and fine aggregates in the new material of vibration-stabilized cement stabilized macadam are distributed. More uniform, the compressive strength of the test piece formed through the test chamber is higher and the dry shrinkage performance of the material is improved; the molding rate of the core sample obtained on the curing road is higher and uniform, and the unconfined compressive strength is higher than that of the two-cylinder mixing. The vibration mixing core sample increased by 27.9% and the coefficient of variation decreased by 48.4%. Under the scanning electron microscope, the sample was stirred with vibration and the microstructure was dense. There was more CSH gel structure and the strength of the hardened mixture was enhanced. The cement-stabilized gravel-based road surface prepared by vibratory agitation significantly increases the crack spacing of pavement and reduces the occurrence of pavement cracks. The practice of vibration-stabilized cement-stabilized macadam has proved that it has superior technical characteristics compared with conventionally prepared cement-stabilized macadam and provides basis for further popularization and application.
