Smart Traffic Light for Emergency Vehicle by Using Arduiono

摘要

In this paper, a new system to solve problem of emergency vehicle to pass through the traffic light where the traffic light was jammed with long queue of vehicle. Once the emergency vehicle able to pass through traffic light easily that will save the travelling of the emergency vehicle and also save the situation depending of the type of emergency vehicle ie fire or life. This new system is using the advantages of arduino and sensor which is bluetooth. The client bluetooth is attached to emergency vehicle and the master Bluetooth and arduino is located at the traffic light. In this system, when the emergency vehicle approach the traffic light of red light and long queue, the Bluetooth sensor will give the signal to the arduino to change the green light. Hence, the queuing vehicle will move and give the space to emergency vehicle to pass through the traffic jam. When the emergency vehicle pass through the traffic light, the traffic light will go to the normal sequence. With this new system, obviously, the emergency vehicle is able to pass through easily without delay
