Method for influencing road traffic in an emergency or dangerous situation, whereby a motor vehicle (1), especially an emergency vehicle, has a transmitter (2) with which it transmits a danger signal (G) to receivers (3, 5) of stationary traffic controllers, e.g. traffic lights (4) and or other road users (6). On receipt of the danger signal, control signals are respectively used to set the lights accordingly and control a vehicle accordingly.
