Image of Oriental Chinese in English Lover by Hong Ying

摘要

English Lover is a famous novel by Hong Ying. This paper studies the image of eastern China in the English Lover, the image of British people reflected in the book and the cultural mentality of British people towards China, and analyzes the reasons from the perspectives of national history, culture and author's personal factors.
